Job summary

Charter Manufacturing in Wisconsin is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide desktop and end-user support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and help employees maximize technology across office and manufacturing environments.

This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to Microsoft environments, ERP systems, MES, and enterprise tools, with a path to grow within IT as you gain experience and contribute to a safe, collaborative, and continuously improving team.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests.
Interest in learning enterprise technologies, manufacturing systems, and IT operations.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee technology support requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, system, and application issues.
Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Teams, Intune, remote access tools, and business applications.
Assist with user account setup, access requests, and basic system administration tasks.
Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, peripherals, and printers.
Support MES and other operational technology applications.
Document support requests, resolutions, and technical procedures.
Contribute to knowledge base articles and self-service documentation.
