Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across our office and manufacturing operations in Milwaukee, WI. The role covers end-user support, onboarding, imaging and deployment, AD work, and enterprise app issues in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–4+ years in IT support, strong Windows/M365 knowledge, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1-4+ years of IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or related experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to provide technical support to a diverse workforce in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, Active Directory administration, PC hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Level 1: Respond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, emails, and walk-up support requests.
• Level 1: Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
• Level 1: Assist users with password resets, Outlook/M365, VPN/MFA access, network drive mapping, printers and scanners.
• Level 1: Deploy hardware for new hires and assist with onboarding.
• Level 2: Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues across Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 apps, hardware, and software.
• Level 2: Image, deploy, rebuild, and maintain laptops/desktops; basic network troubleshooting.
• Level 2: Support manufacturing floor tech such as label printers, handheld devices, and production terminals.
• Level 2: Manage Active Directory tasks and user access; support Workday access.
• Level 2: Document resolutions and procedures to improve team knowledge.
