Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 in Elmhurst, IL to maintain automated material handling equipment and facility systems. You’ll troubleshoot conveyors, sortation, scales, and printers, while following safety protocols and using handheld devices to close work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic PC skills and ability to use handheld/mobile apps.
• Familiarity with wiring diagrams and electrical principles.
• Experience with maintenance of MHE and conveyor systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical MHE on site.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and conveyors.
• Read electrical/electronic schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Work with safety procedures and PPE; support LOTO/Arc Flash requirements.
• Collaborate with others and manage work orders via asset systems.
