Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician to keep automated material handling and facility equipment running efficiently on site. You will troubleshoot and restore equipment quickly to support the warehouse operation.

The role offers hands-on growth, potential promotion to Skilled Technician/TechII, and requires a high school diploma, transferrable mechanical skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Transferrable mechanical skills across maintenance disciplines.
• Ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Basic PC skills and use of handheld devices.
• Familiar with industrial tools and preventive maintenance basics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MHE, conveyors, sortation, scales, and printer applicators.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment including HVAC and balers.
• Read basic electrical/electronic schematics and use meters and infrared thermometers.
• Create and close work orders with labor, downtime, and parts data in the asset system.
• Collaborate with maintenance leadership and safety procedures to ensure uptime.
