Job summary

Burlington Stores in Redlands, CA is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician to maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment. The role covers troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and parts procurement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational/technical training in mechanical or electrical fields preferred
• 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience desired
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and MHE is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment (MHE, HVAC, air compressors, dryers, balers).
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues; read basic schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Use handheld devices to create/close Work Orders with data such as downtime and parts used.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures.
