Job summary

Burlington Stores in Ellabell, GA is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician to maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment, ensuring high availability and safe operation.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, read schematics, create work orders, and collaborate with lead techs to resolve issues. This role offers hands-on training, a pathway to Skilled Technician, and a day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Transferrable mechanical skills.
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Basic PC competency and ability to use mobile apps.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and basic industrial tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MHE, conveyors, sortation and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility systems (HVAC, air compressors, etc.).
• Read electrical/electronic schematics and use test tools.
• Create and close Work Orders with labor hours and parts data.
• Collaborate with lead techs and contractors to ensure safety and quality.
