Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 (MT1) to maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment in our supply chain facilities. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, read schematics, and assist with Root Cause Analysis alongside senior engineers.

This entry-level role offers potential for advancement to Maintenance Technician 2, with hands-on validation and a written assessment, while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiar with basic wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
• Degree from a vocational school or college with focus in mechanical or electrical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and MHE.
• Read and understand basic electrical and electronic schematics.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE to maintain a safe work environment.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across the organization.
