Job summary

Big-D Construction in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a Support Technician I to join the Technology team. This entry-level role provides frontline technical assistance to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software to keep staff productive.

You will work with IT colleagues, contribute to knowledge base documentation, and help maintain system standards across devices and applications. Qualifications include an Associate degree or equivalent, 1+ year of help desk experience, and a preference for

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Over 1 year of technical support or help desk experience.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system to ensure timely resolution.
• Diagnose and address hardware and software issues impacting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Assist with setup and configuration of new equipment.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all support activities and resolutions.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher-level support as necessary.
• Utilize solution articles to efficiently resolve technical challenges.
• Provide on-site support at remote offices or project locations as needed.
