Job summary

Engineering Services and Products Company seeks an entry-level IT Support Specialist to monitor and respond to Level I tickets, update computer systems, and assist with network and hardware tasks across the company.

The role includes imaging, printer maintenance, onboarding, and training, with after-hours coverage and opportunities to work with vendor software and cross-department teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing system or Help Desk.
• Excellent keyboarding and phone skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with different departments and a variety of personality types.
• Professional and competent approach to work environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review and respond to Level I Technical Support
• Update and maintain computer systems
• Support policies and procedures related to network hardware and software
• Computer imaging and decommissioning
• Accurately track computer security cameras
• Troubleshooting VoIP phone system
• Printer maintenance and trouble shooting
• Working with vendor software support
• Network cabling installation and termination
• New Hire IT Orientation and training
• Escalate higher level IT tickets to appropriate personnel
• Individual projects and research assigned by management
• After hour support coverage
• Additional duties as assigned
