Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking a reliable IT Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for Operations facilities in Las Vegas. You will support end-user computing devices, printers, and basic networking, following established procedures and SLAs.

This role is hands-on and requires strong troubleshooting, independent work, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations. Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support and CompTIA A+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on IT support experience.

Job description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for Operations facilities. The successful candidate will support end-user computing devices, printers, networking equipment, and operational technology environments while following established technical procedures and service-level expectations.

This role is hands-on and requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to participate in on-call rotations and site shift schedules.

Key Responsibilities

End User Support

• Image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and desktop systems
• Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application-related issues
• Support user onboarding and workstation setup activities

Hardware & Infrastructure Support

• Diagnose and resolve printer issues, including network-connected printers
• Perform basic networking troubleshooting, including connectivity and cabling issues
• Respond to equipment failures and restore service following documented SOPs
• Assist with asset management and equipment lifecycle activities

Operational Support

• Work assigned support tickets and service requests within SLA requirements
• Execute Change Management (CM) activities according to established procedures
• Respond to emergent technical events impacting site operations
• Escalate complex issues when resolution steps are unclear or require higher-level intervention

Required Qualifications
