Job summary

Bowman in Houston, TX is seeking an entry-level Designer I, I&C OG to support instrumentation and controls design. You will assist engineers and designers in creating CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, and related documentation while learning industry standards and company procedures.

Under direct supervision, you will contribute to the development, modification, and implementation of control systems, build technical proficiency, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in engineering technology, instrumentation and controls, electrical engineering technology, drafting, design, or related field preferred.
Entry level position with 0–2 years of relevant instrumentation and controls CAD drafting or engineering support experience a plus.
Basic knowledge of CAD software and engineering drafting principles; familiarity with instrumentation and control system drawings and design documentation.

Responsibilities

Assist with CAD drafting and preparation of instrumentation and controls drawings, schematics, and documentation based on specs and vendor information.
Support engineers and senior designers in development, revision, and coordination of project deliverables.
Assist with instrumentation location plans, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts, and control system documentation.
