Linde Inc. in Tonawanda, NY invites high-potential graduates to join the 2027 Entry Level Industrial Engineer – Leadership Technical Orientation Program (LTOP).

The 52-week curriculum exposes you to air separation, hydrogen, and other plants, with a July 1, 2027 start possibility. You will work hands-on, operate equipment, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, safety, and operations teams while developing mentored leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher strongly preferred.
• Zero to three years of experience supported by internship or cooperative education roles.
• Effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, and adaptability to shifting operational needs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems independently, and complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong analytical skills for technical challenges.
• Willing and able to travel up to 25% to plant sites and training locations; relocation as required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a fifty-two-week structured curriculum exposing you to plant operations across multiple product lines.
• Engage in hands-on activities such as start-ups, shutdowns, maintenance, project planning, training, troubleshooting, and daily plant support.
• Operate process equipment both via control systems and in the field across motors, compressors, pumps, instrumentation, and utilities.
