Job summary

Linde plc is launching a 2027 Entry Level Chemical Engineer – Leadership Technical Orientation Program (LTOP) designed to provide broad exposure to plant operations across multiple product lines, including air separation and hydrogen. The program starts around July 1, 2027, with hands-on start-ups, shutdowns, maintenance, and safety program execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering with GPA 3.0+.
Zero to three years of internship or co-op experience.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Willingness to travel up to 25% and relocate as needed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Participate in a 52-week curriculum exposing you to plant operations across multiple product lines.
Engage in hands-on operational activities such as start-ups, shutdowns, maintenance, project planning, and training.
Operate process equipment via control systems and in the field.
Monitor efficiency and energy usage, optimize operating modes and implement improvements.
Support QA programs and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with process engineering, project engineering, controls, maintenance, reliability, safety, and operations teams.
