Linde Inc. in Freeport, TX is launching the 2027 Entry Level Chemical Engineer – Leadership Technical Orientation Program (LTOP).

A fifty-two week curriculum covers plant operations across product lines, with a July 1, 2027 start date. You will perform start-ups, maintenance, project planning, training, troubleshooting, and daily plant support while developing leadership skills through mentored experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• 0–3 years of internship or cooperative education experience.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and to relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 52-week rotational curriculum across multiple product lines including air separation, hydrogen, and more.
• Engage in hands-on operational activities: start-ups, shutdowns, maintenance, project planning, training, troubleshooting, and safety program execution.
• Operate process equipment via control systems and field, including motors, compressors, pumps and instrumentation.
• Monitor efficiency and energy use, optimize operating modes, and implement improvements.
• Support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and distribution/operations teams; execute projects within budgets.
