Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Columbus, OH is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support our hiring teams with sourcing, screening, and interview coordination. You will ensure a smooth candidate experience and help keep HR records up to date.

The role also involves onboarding support, benefits administration assistance, and maintaining accurate employee files and documentation for ongoing HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, resume databases, and other recruitment channels.
• Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the basic qualifications for open positions.
• Conduct initial candidate prescreens by phone to assess qualifications, experience, interest, availability, and compensation expectations.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process to provide updates and maintain a positive candidate experience.
• Post job openings and assist with maintaining accurate job postings across recruitment platforms.
• Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, coordinating orientations, and completing I-9 employment verification.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and HR documentation.
