Job summary

Clean Harbors in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I (Entry Level) to join our safety-conscious team. This role will perform hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in the field.

Note this position requires new hires to attend a two-week Academy (paid) training; expenses are covered by the company. Clean Harbors offers health benefits, 401K with company match, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• This position includes emergency response duties.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical are required by position.
• Respiratory protection standards must be met per OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies to keep safety as the top priority.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including heavy lifting.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use hand tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in various temperatures and environments, both indoors and outdoors.
• Conduct waste sampling and calibration activities as needed.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and access tanks and containers.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
