Job summary

BBI Logistics in Tampa is seeking an Account Executive to grow and manage a personal book of business by continuously engaging carriers and customers. You will drive freight solutions and revenue through proactive outreach and strong closing skills.

Daily duties include lead generation, 60+ cold calls, industry trend awareness, and cost negotiation for customers and carriers. You will leverage our proprietary TMS to coordinate movements and resolve problems in real time.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume sales and cold-calling required.
• Ability to negotiate pricing and terms with clients.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and qualify prospects.
• Execute 60+ cold calls per day to build relationships with prospects and customers.
• Stay updated on industry trends to provide and negotiate freight costs to customers and carriers.
• Manage freight movement using our proprietary TMS software and resolve issues in real time.
• Proactively communicate updates to customers and carriers.
