Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction in Lansing, MI is seeking an Entry Level Field Technician I to operate testing equipment for soils, concrete and other materials, and report findings.

You will use drawings, specifications and diagrams, perform tasks to specification, document data in detail, and be prepared for overtime, travel up to 25% and outdoor work in various weather. A High School diploma and ACI certification are preferred; physical lifting is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; ACI certification preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment for soils, concrete, and other materials and report data.
• Use drawings, specifications, and diagrams to guide tests and interpretations.
• Perform tasks per established methods and document results in detail.
• Maintain thorough records of test data and observations.
