Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel locally to project sites and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform materials testing of soil, concrete, and related materials per specs.
• Operate testing equipment and report data accurately.
• Observe pier drilling, foundation installation, and geotechnical activities.
• Conduct field inspections and document observations under supervision.
• Classify soils and document subsurface conditions per standards.
• Utilize drawings and specs to support testing and inspection tasks.
• Maintain detailed field notes and test documentation.
• Communicate findings to project managers and engineers.
• Travel locally to Fairfield, Texas area project sites as required.
• Adhere to all safety procedures at sites.
