Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction is seeking an Entry Level Field Technician I in Ripon, WI. You will work on testing activities across soils and concrete, using drawings and specifications to guide tasks, and maintain meticulous test records.

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma (ACI preferred) and can travel up to 25% with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. The role includes overtime potential and on-site work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and a reliable driving record.
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to discern sound.
• Ability to kneel, squat, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing ( soils, concrete, etc.) and report data.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Perform tasks to observe site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
