Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Entry Level Field Technician I to join our Professional Services Industries team in Macomb, MI. The role involves performing testing, site observations and assessments under supervision, supporting civil and commercial construction projects within our QA and inspection services.

You will operate testing equipment for soil, concrete and related materials, analyze data, maintain detailed test documentation, and work with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; ACI certification preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs frequently and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or similar).
• Utilize drawings, specifications and diagrams for site assessments.
• Make detailed observations of site activities and document results.
• Maintain detailed test documentation and data from results.
