Job summary

ECS Limited is hiring a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician in Louisville. No experience necessary; you will be trained on-site under experienced professionals to safely perform field and laboratory tests on soils, aggregates, and concrete.

You will learn data collection, reporting, and equipment handling while advancing in a dynamic construction materials testing environment. We offer paid training and cover certification fees, with opportunities to grow through OSHA 10, ACI,

Qualifications

No experience required.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and follow laws and company policies.
Willing to develop understanding of CMT principles and ASTM standards.
OSHA 10 certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Field Activities: Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of materials (soils, aggregates, concrete) on project sites under guidance of senior technicians and project managers.
Testing Procedures: Perform routine field and laboratory tests using industry-standard methods and equipment.
Data Collection: Perform calculations and data reduction from sampling results; assist with calculations and drafting as requested.
Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers; report changes to supervisor.
Training and Development: Receive training on ECS methodology for observations, inspections, and testing; document findings accurately.
