Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician for our Mount Laurel, NJ team. No experience is required; you will train under seasoned professionals to learn field sampling, testing, and data collection on construction sites.

You’ll support field activities for soils, aggregates, and concrete, observe safety procedures, and communicate results to project managers. Opportunity for certification training through OSHA 10, ACI, ASNT, and more.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Field activities: observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete on sites.
• Perform routine field and laboratory tests following industry standards.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and assist with drafting and admin duties.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors and project managers.
• Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings precisely.
