Job summary

ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a motivated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician. No experience is required, as you will learn under experienced professionals to safely perform a variety of field tasks on project sites.

You will conduct observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete, follow industry standards, collect data, and communicate with site contractors and project managers.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Willing to learn CMT principles and ASTM standards.
• OSHA 10 certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete at sites.
• Perform field and lab tests following industry standards.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and assist with drafting.
• Maintain communication with site contractors and project managers.
• Receive training in ECS methods and document findings precisely.
