Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Cleveland team. No experience is required as you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to learn to safely perform a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities include field observation, testing soils/aggregates/concrete, data collection, and communication with project managers. We provide paid training and support toward certifications and safety training as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
• Willing to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Field Activities: Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of materials on project sites; perform tasks under supervision.
• Testing Procedures: Conduct routine field and laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using standard methods.
• Data Collection: Perform calculations and data reduction; assist with drafting and administrative duties as requested.
