Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join the Louisville team. No experience is required as you’ll be trained under experienced professionals to safely perform field tasks.

Responsibilities include observing, testing, and sampling materials, conducting standard tests, and collecting data with guidance from senior staff. Training and development opportunities are provided, including OSHA 10 and various certifications.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Willing to obtain CMT knowledge and certifications over time.

Responsibilities

• Observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete at field sites.
• Perform routine field and laboratory tests per industry standards.
• Collect data and perform calculations from test results.
• Communicate site conditions and testing needs to supervisors and project managers.
• Assist with equipment organization and safe operation on site.
