Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield Midland is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join our maintenance team. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems, support repairs, and assist with system installations, ensuring that facilities run efficiently.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on problem solving, and collaboration with vendors and building staff. Relevant technical background and EPA 608 certification upcoming within 30 days are valued.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, or air compressor experience.
• Minimum of five years in commercial/industrial facility maintenance.
• Valid driver's license with clean record (CDL may be required).
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word.
• CMMS experience or familiarity.
• EPA 608 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• High school diploma or GED; associate/vocational training preferred.
• Criminal background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• This role requires strong HVAC repair and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair of buildings, systems, and equipment.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Create, review, and maintain work orders in CMMS.
• Inspect facilities for unsafe conditions and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain safety systems and operate fire/life safety equipment.
• Coordinate with outside contractors/vendors as needed.
