TEKsystems is seeking an on-site contract candidate to support the EHR team in clearing a backlog of clinical and administrative documents. You will scan, triage, and route documents into the EMR, using Highland OnBase within a structured document management environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare practice (receptionist, scheduler, medical assistant)
• Reliable and able to complete work accurately and on time
• Customer service mindset supporting internal and patient-facing teams
• Ability to work with EMR systems and understand healthcare workflows
• Comfort in a structured document management environment and batch processing
• Attention to detail identifying healthcare documents and routing
• Willingness to learn Highland OnBase or similar platforms

Responsabilités

• Process batches inside Highland OnBase, routing to correct destinations
• Identify document types (e.g., workers comp forms, external notes) and route accordingly
• Apply processing rules and move documents to appropriate channels/workflows
• Attach documents correctly to patients’ EMRs
• Triages documents received via fax to 14 designated teams or front desk workflows
• Maintain accuracy, reliability, and customer service through document batches
• Collaborate with trainer and team to clarify processes and improve quality
• Follow procedures for EHR and document management workflows to support timely updates
