Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Echo Tech for Good Samaritan Hospital to support cardiac/vascular imaging. The role is designed for recent graduates or those new to the field, performing ultrasound exams under physician direction.

Part-time position (30 hours), on-site at Good Samaritan Hospital with on-call shifts. The team emphasizes education, collaboration, and hands-on skill development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Bachelor’s Degree. Education must be from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams by identifying patients and educating them on procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Document exam results and related information accurately.
• Maintain equipment and supplies and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
• Contribute to quality improvement and education initiatives.
