Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography required.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred from an accredited institution.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, offices, and patients.
• Prepare for exams with patient education and comfortable handling.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Document results and apply proper charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
• Maintain equipment, area and supplies; assist with repairs as needed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and education for staff and students.
