Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction at Good Samaritan Hospital. This part-time role supports a learning-focused environment for recent graduates or those new to the field.

The position emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and accurate documentation while offering on-call and 10-hour shift patterns. Ideal candidates are ARDMS/CCI certified with BLS and a willingness to mentor others.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Education with Bachelor’s Degree preferred; verify degree.

Responsabilités

• Perform ultrasound exams following department protocols and physician directions.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff, physicians, and patients.
• Prepare exam, identify patient, educate patient and family; transport patient as needed.
• Document results and charge codes; maintain equipment and work areas.
• Mentor students and caregivers, support quality improvement initiatives.
