Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a customer-focused support specialist to assist users of proprietary large-format X-ray machines. You will resolve issues over the phone, manage daily calls, and provide Windows-based application support. A 5-week structured training program leads into ongoing collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or tech school, or 1–2 years related experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with calm handling of conversations.
• Basic Windows and database understanding; willing to learn proprietary systems.
• Ability to learn quickly through a structured training program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers, handling conversations professionally.
• Manage 13–15 calls per day while maintaining composure with irate users.
• Provide application support for Windows-based systems and file structures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues during training and beyond.
• Support troubleshooting and help desk tasks as part of a hybrid role.
