Job summary

Mass Electric Construction Co. (MEC) is seeking an entry‑level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and financial operations for multi‑million to multi‑billion dollar initiatives.

You will assist with cost control, payroll, payables/receivables, and month‑end close while partnering with project teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Based in the United States, relocation is required as projects move nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field with GPA 3.0+
• 0–2 years of financial or data analysis experience
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country and travel up to 50%
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Supports cost control, payroll, A/P/A/R, and HR processes for projects.
• Assists with month-end close and financial reporting packages for project management.
• Maintains internal controls for purchasing, invoicing, and cost reporting.
• Reconciles cost and revenue, analyzes forecast/budget variances, and supports compliance with corporate policies.
