Job summary

Mass Electric Construction Co. is seeking an entry-level Finance Analyst to support project accounting, forecasting, and operations. You’ll help with cost control, payroll, A/P-A/R, and month-end close across projects ranging from $1M to $4B, gaining exposure to MEC Industrial District nationwide relocation and travel.

You’ll develop expertise in cost and revenue components, labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts, while contributing to financial reporting used by project management.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and budgeting for projects.
• Assist in month-end close and financial reporting packages for project management.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure accurate cost and revenue recognition.
• Maintain purchasing workflow controls and vendor payment processes.
• Learn payroll and HR process workflows and related systems.
