Job summary

Intermountain Health in Colorado is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision. This position is designed for recent graduates or those new to the field.

You will schedule, prepare, and conduct studies, ensure patient safety, mentor others, and participate in quality improvement. The role is part-time with on-call shifts, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO, supporting a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• ARDMS/CCI certification required for cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule ultrasound exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Educate patients about the procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocol and maintain safety.
• Document results and apply proper charge codes.
