Qualifications

• ARDMS/CCI certification required for cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is expected.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred and will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Competency with department-specific ultrasound protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with staff.
• Prepare patients, educate families, and ensure safety during exams.
• Perform ultrasound exams in a timely manner and document results.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
• Support charge coding, supply management, and quality improvement.
