Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound under physician supervision. This role is ideal for new graduates or those with minimal experience, offering hands-on training in a supportive team.

The position is part-time at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO, with 30 hours per week and 10-hour shifts, including on-call. The team encourages learning, mentorship, and professional development while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with department protocols and in a timely manner.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams by educating patients and ensuring safety and comfort.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students and maintain equipment and work area.
