Job summary

AMMEGA is seeking a Belt Technician I to fabricate conveyor belts to exact specifications. You will follow shop orders, use Cut To Length, Lacing, Finger Splicing and Slitting processes, and assist with installation at customer sites.

The role requires attention to detail, strong reading of drawings, and adherence to safety policies. We offer training, benefits, and a team-focused environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend shop orders and drawings in English.
• Must be able to read and interpret measuring devices (tape measures, calipers).
• Must be able to work in the US.
• Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate in-tolerance conveyor belts per order requirements and work instructions.
• Complete shop orders using the Production Priority Code system.
• Perform belt fabrication: Cut To Length, Lacing, Finger Splicing and Slitting.
• Assist with belt installation at customer facilities.
• Maintain clean, organized work station and adhere to safety policies.
• Communicate any unusual fabrication instructions to Team Lead.
