Job summary

AMMEGA Group is seeking a Belt Technician I at our Jefferson, PA facility to fabricate conveyor belts to order specifications and assist with on-site installations. You will follow established procedures, maintain quality, and work with a team to meet delivery goals.

The role requires reading shop orders in English, using measuring devices, and performing basic math. Ongoing safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are essential in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license if operating company vehicle.
• Prior manufacturing experience operating machinery and using hand tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend shop orders in English.
• Must read measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, scales).
• Must perform basic math with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and metric units.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate in-tolerance finished conveyor belts per orders and work instructions.
• Assist with belt installation at customer facilities.
• Complete shop orders using the Production Priority Code system.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and participate in housekeeping.
• Follow safety policies and company rules; communicate issues to Team Lead.
• Read and interpret drawings and shop orders written in English.
