Job summary

Ammega is seeking a Belt Technician I in Franklin Park, IL to fabricate conveyor belts to order with precision and to follow established work instructions. You will work closely with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and contribute to on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read shop orders in English.
• Valid driver's license if operating company vehicle.
• Experience operating machinery and using hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret measuring devices and basic math.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate belts to order specifications with in-tolerance accuracy.
• Follow Safety Policy and Employee Handbook guidelines.
• Complete shop orders using Production Priority Code system.
• Avoid fabrication errors and meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Assist with belt installation at customer sites when needed.
• Perform Cut To Length, Lacing, Finger Splicing and Slitting processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work station.
