Express Employment Professionals Southwest Austin is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to grow our business by building relationships with local companies and creating new client opportunities. The role offers a $40,000 base salary plus performance incentives, with first-year earnings of $50,000-$60,000+.

Ideal candidates are ambitious, coachable, and eager to start a career in sales and business development.

Qualifications

• Sales, customer service, recruiting, hospitality, retail, or business development experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business technology
• Professional demeanor and strong phone presence
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Prospect local businesses through outbound calls, email outreach, networking, referrals, and other business development activities
• Schedule meetings with business owners, hiring managers, HR professionals, and other decision-makers
• Build relationships with prospective clients and maintain consistent follow-up
• Learn about local businesses and identify staffing opportunities
• Generate qualified appointments for our sales team
• Maintain accurate prospect activity and notes in our CRM system
• Work closely with recruiting and leadership teams to identify market opportunities
• Represent Express Employment Professionals with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Meet and exceed prospecting, appointment-setting, and business development goals
