Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Madison Heights. You will join a team servicing vehicles, gaining hands-on experience diagnosing brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems while performing oil changes and tire maintenance.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
