Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Firestone Complete Auto Care team in a role that supports vehicle service at entry level. You’ll be part of a team performing diagnostics, maintenance, and tire-related duties in a fast-paced shop.

The position offers day-one benefits, on-the-job training, and opportunities to earn ASE certifications while developing essential automotive skills and customer-service experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
