Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join the Firestone Complete Auto Care team. You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and tire maintenance, and install batteries and shocks.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and shock absorbers and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
