Job summary

Bridgestone Americas in Clinton Township, MI, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Firestone Complete Auto Care. This entry-level role supports a high-performing team servicing vehicles, with full and part-time benefits starting from day one and discounts on tools.

You will diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and tire maintenance, and road test vehicles. A valid driver’s license is required; prior auto-service experience is a plus, with on-the-job training and ASE

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
