Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises in Riverside, California, is hiring an entry-level Claims Auto Adjuster to support the Auto Claims Operation. You will handle material damage, property damage, and liability claims, following regulatory and company practices under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities include interviewing insureds and claimants, investigating liability, evaluating coverages, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• No prior claims experience.
• License in Property & Casualty or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insureds and claimants and explain benefits, coverages, fault, and claims process.
• Investigate to determine liability and damages and gather statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
• Evaluate and negotiate within settlement authority to resolve first- and third-party claims.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and inquiries.
• Overtime and holiday hours may be required.
