Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises seeks an entry-level Claims Clerk to support the Auto Claims Operation by handling claims for material damage, property damage, and liability lines. You will perform liability investigations, coverage evaluations, and claims resolution under defined procedures and moderate supervision.

Responsibilities include communicating with insureds and claimants, conducting investigations, and negotiating settlements within authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's equivalent combo of education and experience.
• No prior claims experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and general computer software.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Interpersonal skills are essential.
• Property and casualty license in selling state; may need adjuster license within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insureds and claimants about benefits, coverages, fault, and process.
• Investigate liability and damages; obtain statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
• Negotiate within settlement authority to resolve first and third‑party claims; review estimates and analyze claims.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments as required.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and inquiries.
• Overtime and holiday hours may be required.
