Auto Club Enterprises in Coppell, Texas is seeking an entry-level claims assistant to support the Auto Claims Operation. You will assist with liability investigation, coverage evaluation, and claims resolution under moderate supervision.

Candidates with no prior claims experience are welcome; knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong communication are valued; role may require overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• No prior claims experience required.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and general computer skills.
• Strong organization and planning abilities required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insureds and claimants and explain benefits, coverages, fault, and claims process.
• Conduct investigations to determine liability and damages; obtain statements.
• Evaluate and negotiate within settlement authority to resolve claims.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments as required.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and inquiries.
• Overtime and holiday hours may be required.
