This hourly, full-time position offers a structured training path, with weekday hours and opportunities to learn accounting software while supporting AP/AR activities and payroll timekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Enter vendor and subcontractor bills; code to the correct job, phase, and cost code.
• Match bills to purchase orders and receiving docs; research variances.
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with check run backup.
• Enter customer invoices and progress billings; apply remittances and deposits.
• Maintain accounts receivable aging support and collection logs.
• Maintain W-9, certificates of insurance, and lien releases.
• Scan, index, and file documents; keep audit-ready records.
• Establish and document efficient accounting procedures and filing systems.
• Work through month-end close checklists and assist with supporting schedules.
• Cross-train as backup for payroll timekeeping.
