Job summary

Forma Life Sciences, Irvine, CA, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to build a qualified pipeline of new business. You will research accounts, identify right contacts, and drive conversations from cold start through to opportunities, collaborating across teams for fast, high‑quality results.

This hands‑on role rewards autonomy, learning of manufacturing processes, and a disciplined, repeatable sales process to penetrate complex accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven success in inside sales or business development.
• Experience generating meetings via outbound prospecting.
• Strong research and outreach-writing skills.
• Ability to communicate with scientific and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Identify pharmaceutical and biotech companies with needs fitting Forma's capabilities.
• Build targeted prospect lists and run outreach by email, phone, LinkedIn, and events.
• Develop understanding of each prospect's product, stage, and manufacturing needs.
• Qualify inbound/outbound leads and arrange meetings for the BD team.
• Follow up with prospects over long sales cycles.
• Maintain CRM, track outreach and conversions, and refine approach.
• Collaborate with BD and technical teams to turn conversations into opportunities.
